The Brief
To explore the strengths of Liverpool and its Knowledge Quarter and the route forward.
Objectives:
To stimulate a debate on the issues surrounding what makes a successful city and how Liverpool can be evaluated against those criteria.
To gain buy in from the attendees on what needs to be done and how the organisations represented can work together to ensure that Liverpool continues and accelerates it's progress.
To define the 'Knowledge Quarter' and its importance to the city and how it can be promoted both within Liverpool and the sub regions.
Attendees included:
Senior representatives from Liverpool City Council, University of Liverpool, The Mersey Partnership, Peel Holdings, Liverpool Vision, Plexus Cotton Limited, John Moores University, Strategic Partnerships and Development, Government Office for the North West.
